Way way way back in 2007 Sunset Suratt Surf Academy was going strong. Today Sunset Suratt Surf Academy is still on the North Shore and in the water instructing and coaching surfers. Most North Shore surf schools of today were not even around in 2007.
We promise a good time and a great adventure for all. Some students are so stoked with their surf session they post a video of their lesson with Uncle Bryan on YouTube.
You can have your own surf video. Every surfer we take out has the option to have our photographer/videographer document your session. Giving you a chance to review or show off your skills on the waves to your friends, family and the whole world (if you choose).
Uncle Bryan Suratt has been teaching & coaching surfers for over 40 years, from surf pros to now legends to bucket-list surfers.
If you would like to find a good, reputable surf school on the North Shore of Oahu, look no further, Sunset Suratt Surf Academy is what your looking for. Uncle Bryan is a North Shore native who knows the waves and the breaks like no other.
The best instructors and the best surf school is Sunset Suratt Surf Academy

How Often Does Hawaii See Thunder and Lightening?
We get a lot of question from future visitors to the islands. Since today is a rather stormy day we thought that it would be best to answer this question:
How Often Does Hawaii See Thunder and Lightening?
Not very often. Fortunately the Hawaiian islands are not in the path of weather systems that deliver such meteorlogic sights and sounds. However, it is said that Kauai get more thunderstorms than the other islands. I guess that could be due to the fact that Kauai is one of the rainiest places in the world.
We googled the question and found that the majority of answers pointed the finger at Kauai
